ROI of Benefits |
Why do organizations provide benefits to their employees? How do they measure the strategic effectiveness of this decision?
There are many ways to gauge the success of offering benefits within an organization. Tight competition for today’s talent is forcing employers of all sizes to become savvier in their benefit offerings. It continues to be more and more difficult to find qualified and competent talent, and to justify the expense of offering competitive benefits that help retain key talent. Research has shown that organizations offering a robust, cost-effective and competitive benefits program earn a higher return to their shareholder by attracting, developing, and retaining more highly talented employees.
Presenter Paula Harvey, GPHR, SPHR, ASC, will explore and discuss some of the techniques organizations are using to measure the effectiveness of their benefit programs. Mrs. Harvey is President of her Human Resources consulting company, K & P Consulting, and assist companies of all sizes with developing human resource strategies. She is a nationally certified Human Resources and Safety professional and instructs at many institutions of higher learning. Mrs. Harvey has spoken on many subjects in the human resources field including the use of metrics in measuring human resource strategies.
